This is a work in progress, in other words as I have time to work on it. The purpose is to compile information on vintage safety razors, identification, stats and photos for the safety razor collector. Will be working on Gillette razors and others from my store stock and also recently sold items that I still have photos etc. The actual layout on this is still just a thought in the planning stage, so bear with me. This particular razor hadserial no. B342652 which dates it to 1910.
Three piece razor, top guard has three studs, center one is threaded for handle.
Originally used the 3-hole blade, but regular double edge blades fit.
Gillette Old Type Safety Razor, ABC Handle
Silver plated 'Old Type' Gillette safety razor with American Button Co. handle. This particular razor has serial no. B986643
which dates it to 1911. Three piece razor, top guard has three studs, center one is threaded for handle.
Originally used the 3-hole blade, but regular double edge blades fit.
Gillette Standard Old Type Safety Razor 1912
Standard Old Type Gillette safety razor, single ring. Razor is silver plated. Three piece design with long center stud
and two smaller studs to hold the 3 hole style blade. These razors were serial numbered.
This one has serial number C118414 which dates it to 1912.
Gillette Old Type Safety Razor

Uses 3 hole blades, Many of these razors have small splits in the handle which is common in this type razor.
They had serial numbers on the lower blade holder until 1921. After that no serial numbers.

Milady Decollete Gold Gillette Safety Razor
Vintage 1917 Gillette Milady Decollete gold plated lady's safety razor, this one has serial number E444538 dates it to 1917. Came in an Ivorine case. Originally used the three hole blades but regular double edge blades work.
Milady Decolletee / Decollete Short Handle Ladies Razor
Milady Decolletee or Decollete, have seen it both ways) double edged safety razor. Old style razor except shorter handle for the ladies. Has gold-plated ball end on silver handle. 1931 Gillette Reverse Stud Goodwill safety razor with #164 cap. Bottom plate has diamond shaped studs that fit into the openings on the top plate.
Also has slotted center hole and the top plate has square positioning posts. Embossed decorative top cap. One of several different design Goodwill Razors.

Three piece Gillette Tech razor with a chrome plated cap and guard and a black plastic handle. 1940's era. The Gillette Diamond and Arrow trademark is on the razor cap and also on the base of the handle.

Notice the handle doesn't have the squares in the design. Gillette advertised this razor during its sponsorship of the Cavalcade of Sports

Gillette Techmatic Safety Razor, Band Type Razor
Gillette Techmatic safety razor with a replaceable band-blade cartridge.The blade cartridge contained a band which by turning a key the edge moved forward. Made from 1965 until 1969. Black plastic handle with a ribbed design on grip. Measures 4 1/4 inches in length. The cartridges sometimes show up online.

Adelene Safety Razor
Vintage Adelene safety razor, made by Hode's - Hyman Specialty Co. Fremont, Ohio. Was used as an advertising promotion,
given away with a box advertising a customers company. Early 1900's era.
Not sure what type blade fit but researching as you read.
B&R Sanitary Safety Razor
The B&R Sanitary Safety Razor. Single edge. Uses thin rectangular blade 3/4 X 1-7/16 inch, seems the Enders single edge blade works.
Comb guard has edge ribs to align blade. Another odd razor for your collection.
Curvfit Lady's Safety Razor
Vintage Curvfit, 'miladys personal razor', small gold plated lady's safety razor. Uses a special Curvfit single edge blade.
Originally came out in the 1920's. Curvfit Sales Corp., 33 Jefferson Street, Stamford, Connecticut.
Clix Safety Razor
Clix safety razor, three piece razor, plastic handle with metal head. 1940's era, made by Conrad Razor Blade Co., Inc., Clix Division 36th St. & 47th Ave., Long Island City, NY. (Was also made in an all plastic model).
Dillon Beck Travel Safety Razor
Brown plastic collapsible handle three piece safety razor was made in 1943 by the D.C. Dillon & Co. of Irvington, N.J. Uses regular double edge blades.

Ever Ready Safety Razor 1924
Ever Ready single edge safety razor. Flip top head with short hexagon handle. Marked inside Ever-Ready, Bklyn, N.Y. USA, Pat. Appl'd. For. I believe this model came out about 1924. Uses standard single edge blades.
Eversharp Hydro-Magic Injector Razor
Eversharp Hydro-Magic injector safety razor. Short square ribbed black handle, Hydro-Magic lever and gold head.
The Hydro-Magic lever allowed loosening of the cap and guard to rinse the blade without removing or touching it. 1955 to 1958 timeline.

Probak Safety Razor
Probak safety razor, open comb type. Uses regular double edge blades. 1928 - 1930's era. They were bought up by Gillette around this time. Probak Corp. was a division of AutoStrop Razor Co., Inc., New York, NY.
Schick Injector Razor, Black Bakelite Case
Vintage Schick Injector Razor with bakelite handle. Round spring with flaps, spring moved left to open the blade clamp for washing.
Schick Injector on spring washer. Black bakelite box with a "wax seal" type logo on top.
Made by Magazine Repeating Razor Co. New York, Made in USA inside case lid.
Eversharp Schick '66' Injector Razor (Matte)
Eversharp Schick '66' injector razor with dark blue handle and matte finish silver head. These were made in 1949. Eversharp Schick on the spring washer.
Shick Injector Safety Razor 1955 to 1958
Vintage Shick injector razor made by Eversharp Inc. 1955 to 1958. Square fully ribbed handle in cream plastic with gold triangular streamlined head. Bar Guard with parallel grooves. Uses regular injector blades.
A vintage Schick safety razor, has long black handle with silver TTO tip. Marked Schick / Made in USA. Tip of handle is marked Schick with triangle.
Has numbers 1 - 4 / M - 5 on underside. I believe this is an earlier Krona. (Haven't worked on Schick double edge razor dating yet.)

Vintage Shick injector razor made by Eversharp Inc. 1955 to 1958. Square fully ribbed handle in cream plastic with gold triangular streamlined head. Bar Guard with parallel grooves. Uses regular injector blades.
A vintage Schick safety razor, has long black handle with silver TTO tip. Marked Schick / Made in USA. Tip of handle is marked Schick with triangle.
Has numbers 1 - 4 / M - 5 on underside. I believe this is an earlier Krona. (Haven't worked on Schick double edge razor dating yet.)

Shermac Ladies Safety Razor
Shermac ladies underarm razor, has green marblized handle and uses round blade.
