Bought a small collection of vintage advertising and other thermometers about a week or so ago. They actually make a neat collection, now I wonder why I never collected them myself. Oh well I guess you can’t collect everything, but I’ve tried. Great to hang in those little spots where nothing else fits in. Also were a few souvenir thermometers, a few kitchen related, candy or chocolate thermometers and some regular household types.
A few are pictured below:

Advertising and souvenir thermometers come in all sizes and shapes. Picture frame type, figural shapes, plain rectangluar ones etc.
More vintage advertising thermometers and other neat collectibles in our shop.

Bought a neat little pile of character and advertising spoons over the weekend. Just started working on them today.
Here are some of the Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto and Smurf spoon and fork sets. What’s nice is you don’t always find sets. Great stuff to add to your Disney etc. collections. Or your little “blue character” pile. Probably get to the others over the weekend or early next week.

More Mickey Mouse and character collectibles in the shop.

I picked up two neat items in the last few weeks, actually bought a lot of neat collectibles. One is a nice vintage Pet cap gun. It is marked ‘PET’ on the sides above trigger, under the barrel is a faint ‘Made in USA’. I presume it’s a Hubley from the 50’s. Very good working condition with slight scratches.
The other is a Steven’s Hero cap gun from the late 1940’s. Has ivory colored plastic grips which are warped slightly probably from heat. Five inches overall in length.Works good, great condition, doesn’t look like it was ever played with. Made in USA.
