Collecting Vintage Advertising Fans
    Â

Vintage advertising fans were popular from about the 1920’s to the 1950’s. They usually had a nice picture on one side and advertising on the other.
Some were one piece with a hole for the thumb to grip it while you fanned yourself, others were mounted on a flat wooden handle. These fans were given out by local shoe stores, coal companies, funeral parlors and many other businesses. Also several bread companies used these as an advertising medium such as this Hopalong Cassidy / Bond Bread fan.
We have several of these advertising fans for sale in our shop
See ya, Country Joe.
